Information collected
If you email Fortmilo, the information you provide may include your name, email address, organisation and the content of your enquiry.
This static website does not use a contact form. It does not use Fortmilo analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Purpose and lawful basis
Contact information is used to respond to enquiries, maintain appropriate correspondence and protect the website and project. This processing is based on legitimate interests in communicating about Fortmilo and Security Observatory, administering enquiries and maintaining website security.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained for 12 months after the enquiry closes, then deleted unless it must be kept longer to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or meet a legal obligation.
Hosting and request logs
The site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect and log service and website usage information, including IP address, device and session information, request date and time, referring site and pages viewed, under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Service providers and sharing
Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed when required by law or processed by providers supporting website hosting, email delivery and storage, and necessary IT, security or professional support.
International processing
Some service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where Fortmilo makes a restricted transfer, that transfer is covered by an applicable UK transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards. Information about the applicable safeguards is available on request. Provider arrangements and locations may change, so this notice does not claim that all processing remains in the United Kingdom.

You can ask to receive information you supplied in a portable form where the right to data portability applies. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
